User's Guide

This manual describes the SansGUI Run-Time Environment for simulation users. It assumes that you have SansGUI correctly installed on your system. If you need installation information, please refer to the Getting Started guide. In this User's Guide, we will introduce the SansGUI Object System to you from the user's point of view, guide you through the process of creating and executing simulation Project Models, show you how to maintain commonly used objects in Object Libraries and expose the friendly features of the SansGUI Modeling and Simulation Environment to you.

Chapter 1 SansGUI Object System: introduces the SansGUI object-oriented modeling system from the user's point of view. In a casual manner, certain terminologies and their usages are introduced within the contexts familiar to the users.
Chapter 2 Creating Project Models: describes tasks related to Project Model creation and editing.
Chapter 3 Executing Project Models: contains details of user simulation controls and modifiable parameters for execution, monitoring and debugging.
Chapter 4 Plotting Simulation Results: describes the procedures to set up and plot resulting data from simulations.
Chapter 5 Managing Common Objects: describes SansGUI Object Libraries and how users can store and retrieve commonly used objects and sharable objects in these libraries.
Chapter 6 Overriding Simulator Routines: contains details for advanced users to create dynamic link libraries (DLLs) to override some simulator routines.
Chapter 7 Customizing SansGUI Environment: describes user configurable parameters of the SansGUI Run-Time Environment and its workspaces that can be saved across sessions.
