ProtoDesign Offers SansGUI Educational Grant Program
Bolingbrook, IL., June 21, 2002 (www.protodesign-inc.com) - ProtoDesign, Inc. is pleased to announce a new educational grant program to offer free SansGUI software and licenses to non-profit, degree-granting educational institutions and exceptional high schools through course adoptions or special projects. SansGUI is a modeling and simulation environment for developing professional grade scientific and engineering applications in the Microsoft Windows environment without the need to learn the intricacies of the Windows application programming interface (API) nor to write any graphical user interface code. Its highly interactive run-time features encourage students and researchers to play "what if" games in their scientific and engineering explorations. The SansGUI environment can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Visual C++ or Compaq Visual Fortran in courses that require programming or with application programs written by the instructor and others.
