A file path in the SansGUI environment is enclosed by a pair of angle brackets < >. Although you can enter the file path directly, it is recommended that you use the Input Assistant in the SansGUI environment to avoid typing errors.
To enter a file path into a field:
Right click on the field.
Select Input Assistant from the context menu.
Click on the <File / Dir>... button in the Input Assistant to obtain a File Locator.
Look for the file using the File Locator.
Click on the Open button in the File Locator to confirm the selection.
In the Input Assistant, the file name is enclosed by a pair of angle brackets < >.
Click on the OK button to close the Input Assistant. The file path is entered into the field. If the file is in the current working directory, a simple file name is used; otherwise, a full file path is entered.
You can also use the copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) mechanism to copy a file path from the other field.
